There is plenty of video of Kayak Ledge (river mile 6.5) and Frank Bell's Rapid (river mile 7.0) that can be found on the web. Below is video from other rapids. WARNING: The numbered point of view clips (all shot at about 1300 CFS on the Marshall gauge) will cause MOTION SICKNESS!!! No. 4 (Pillow Case), No. 8 (Pit Stop) and No. 11 (Needle Rock Rapid) are the least nauseating of a hard-to-watch set. The lettered video clips below these are much more professional!!

A) Video by Larry Ausley, member of the American Canoe Association's Board of Directors. The first rapid shown (about 20 seconds in) is Turtle Rock Rapid. Big Pillow is next (about 50 seconds in), with some shots of S-Turn mixed in (where the blue kayak rolls). The final scenes of hole surfing are at the top of Sandy Bottom Rapid. Medium water; about two and a half minutes


B) More video by Larry Ausley. The first rapid shown (about 20 seconds in) is Turtle Rock Rapid. Then Big Pillow (1:00 to 2:00), Sandy Bottom (2:00 to 3:30), The Ledges (3:30 to 3:50), Pit Stop (3:50 to 4:30) and finally Stackhouse (4:30 to end). Level of about 1500 CFS
